Installation, Placement & Usage Recommendations

For the best performance, place the DoogeHiFi BALANCE-8D Dual-Driver Subwoofer with the logo side facing towards the listening position, as this is considered the FRONT side of the subwoofer. The side containing the speaker binding posts should face towards the rear wall for easier cable management and proper installation.

Since the dual-opposing subwoofer drivers are mounted on the LEFT and RIGHT side panels, it is strongly recommended to maintain at least 6 to 12 inches of free space on both sides of the cabinet to allow unrestricted airflow and proper driver movement.

For balanced bass performance:

• Avoid placing the subwoofer tightly into room corners initially

• A starting distance of approximately 8 to 18 inches from the rear wall is recommended

• Final placement may be adjusted according to room acoustics and listening preference

Placement Surface Requirement

For safe operation, proper airflow, and installation clearance, the DoogeHiFi BALANCE-8D should be placed on a stable and flat surface with a minimum recommended free space area of:

• Width: 16 inches (406mm)
• Depth: 16 inches (406mm)
• Height: 16 inches (406mm)

This additional space helps provide proper clearance for:

• Side-mounted driver grilles
• Rear speaker binding posts
• Cable connections
• Rubber feet
• Airflow around the enclosure

For best performance:

• Avoid placing objects tightly around the cabinet

• Use on solid and stable flooring whenever possible

Recommended Speaker Wire Gauge

Recommended speaker cable:

• 14 AWG recommended for most installations

• 12 AWG recommended for longer cable runs or higher power amplifiers

Use high-quality stranded copper speaker wire for best performance.

Recommended Usage by Room Size

• Small Rooms (up to approx. 120 sq. ft.)
  → 1 BALANCE-8D recommended

• Medium Rooms (approx. 120 – 250 sq. ft.)
  → 1 or 2 BALANCE-8D recommended

• Large Rooms / Dedicated Home Theater Rooms (250 sq. ft. and above)
  → 2 or 4 BALANCE-8D recommended

Why Use More Than One Subwoofer?

Using multiple subwoofers can help create:

Dual Subwoofer Setup

Using 2 subwoofers can help bass feel more even and room-filling, especially in medium and large rooms.

Recommended placement:

• One subwoofer near the left side of the room

• One subwoofer near the right side of the room

Quad Subwoofer Setup

Using 4 subwoofers can help create smoother and more consistent bass performance throughout the room, especially for dedicated home theater setups.

Recommended placement:

• One subwoofer in each corner of the room

Final placement may vary depending on room acoustics and listening preference.

Warranty

• Includes a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
• Removing or tampering with screws, drivers, or internal components will void the warranty.
• Damage caused by overpowering, amplifier clipping, excessive distortion, misuse, or operation beyond recommended limits is not covered under warranty.
• Please follow the recommended amplifier power range and operating guidelines.

Shipping Damage Policy

In case of shipping damage or a non-working product:

• Inform us within 24 hours of delivery.
• Provide a clear video (with audio) showing the issue.

Failure to report within the required time period may affect claim eligibility.
